Parents of children involved in youth sports are familiar with the time-honored, end-of-the-season ritual of "thanking the coach." Coaches are also familiar with the well-intentioned gifts from parents. Parents have a need to express their appreciation. Coaches enjoy and benefit from the experience and do not require nor expect a gift. The gifts will keep coming. The goal of The Foundation is to give the gifts to those who truly need them.

The Foundation was established to assist parents in the collection of funds to be donated in the name of a coach and team to worthwhile children's related charities such as a pediatric cancer treatment and research facility or a children's hospital.
